WHAT IS A NINER?

As the Niners grow in numbers and experience, we are often asked what a Niner is, especially by those interested in joining our league. Niners:

are members of Kingswood Golf Club (no sabbaticals)
are interested in playing in a nine-hole league
have had some golfing experience, i.e., lessons, scoring, equipment, rules, etiquette, etc.
do not need a recorded handicap
are serious about improving their games of golf, but play for the enjoyment of the game and the socialization a league offers
